John Shorb (b. 1978) is an artist living and working in Brooklyn. Shorb has had solo shows at Tops Gallery, Golestani Gallery, Northeastern University, and Long Island University as well as group shows at Santa Clara University, Wright State University, and Hunterdon Art Museum. He has completed residencies at Hambidge Center, Penland, and Blue Mountain Center. His work is in the permanent collections of the Brooks Museum of Art, Asheville Art Museum, and the University of Mississippi Museum. He studied film and literature at Carleton College and received a masters in divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
