Born in Texas and raised in the United States and Bolivia, artist Keiko Gonzalez currently works out of studios on the outskirts of La Paz, Bolivia and at The Studiohouse on Malvern in Memphis, TN. Keiko completed his undergraduate studies at Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX and received an advanced degree and the Ralph Bunche Fellowship from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of Art then traveled and studied in Europe. He has shown his work for almost 40 years at biennales, museum shows and galleries across the globe and has beencollected by both individuals and institutions. His work has shown in Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands and Spain in Europe, in Egypt and Israel, in Japan, in Mexico and Panama, extensively throughout South America and in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and Memphis.
