Artist Statement

My art is a physical by-product of the act of creating objects of beauty as an antidote to my abiding fear of the certainty of my death and the knowledge that eventually even the memory of me will fade away. It exists at the intersections of desire and beauty, death and time - involving personal and other histories, found objects, flowers, and my body.
